Reserveo

About Reserveo

Built by a barber who got tired of running a shop on paper

Reserveo is the beauty & barber platform shops use to take bookings, run a live walk-in queue, get paid, and grow a name — founded and led by Sami Dahhan, who spent eight years behind the chair before he spent a day behind a product roadmap.

The short version

One founder who knows the trade, a complete in-house team of IT engineers and working barbers, and a single platform that runs the whole shop — from the first booking to the last cash-up.

This site, riserveo.org, is the marketing home for the product. App Store and Google Play downloads are coming soon — contact us for early access.

The founder

Sami Dahhan spent eight years in the trade before he built the tool for it

Sami is a barber first. Eight years of hands-on experience in the trade taught him the rhythm of a shop from the inside: the back-to-back Saturday, the client who turns up an hour early, the phone that rings mid-fade, the notebook of appointments that only makes sense to the person who wrote it.

That experience is the reason Reserveo exists. He watched good shops lose money to problems software should have solved years ago — empty chairs from no-shows, walk-ins turned away because nobody could tell them the wait, takings reconciled from memory at closing time, and talented barbers who stayed invisible because they had nowhere to be discovered.

Today he runs Reserveo from the United Kingdom as founder, owner and CEO. He still thinks like an operator: every feature has to earn its place by saving a barber time, protecting their income, or bringing them a client they would not otherwise have had.

Eight years behind the chair

Not a weekend in a shop for research — years of full books, walk-in rushes, quiet Tuesdays, and clients who only ever want one barber.

He knows how a shop actually runs

Rent, chair splits, stock, staff rotas, tips, no-shows, cash-ups. The parts of the trade that never make it into a demo video.

A sharp operator's eye

He can tell you where a shop leaks time and money, usually to the minute — and that instinct is what the product is measured against.

From the chair to the roadmap

Every feature started as a problem he had on a shift

Reserveo is not a generic scheduling tool with a barber theme. These are the four frustrations that shaped the product, and what they turned into.

01

On the shop floor

Half the shop never books — they just walk in.

A live walk-in queue, not only an appointment grid

Clients join from their phone, see the honest wait, and turn up when the chair is nearly ready. Nobody stands in the doorway asking how long, and nobody walks back out.

Live queue

02

On the shop floor

An empty chair at 2pm is money you never get back.

No-show protection built into the booking, not bolted on

Reminders, confirmations, and deposit rules exist because Sami has lost afternoons to bookings that never showed — and knows exactly what that costs a self-employed barber.

Online booking

03

On the shop floor

The admin starts after the last client leaves.

Checkout, client history and finance in one place

Takings, tips, staff splits and repeat-client notes land in the same system that took the booking — so cash-up is a glance, not an evening with a notebook and a calculator.

Finance hub

04

On the shop floor

Great barbers stay invisible outside their own postcode.

Discovery, social and competition sit next to the booking button

A profile, a feed, city arenas and a marketplace mean the work gets seen. Being good at the job should be enough to get found — the software should do the rest.

Discovery

The team

Software built by people who actually cut hair

Sami leads a complete in-house team of IT engineers and working barbers. Most booking software is written by developers who have never worked a shop floor — you can feel it the first time the shop gets busy. Ours is written next to people who will be back on the clippers tomorrow.

IT engineers

The people who build it

A complete in-house engineering team — apps, platform, payments and infrastructure. No outsourced feature factory, no agency handing over a codebase nobody understands afterwards.

  • Ships and supports the product end to end
  • Owns reliability on the busiest day of the week
  • Turns floor feedback into releases, not a backlog graveyard

Working barbers

The people who prove it

Barbers who still cut hair sit on the same team. They stress-test every screen against a real shift before it reaches your shop, and say so plainly when something would not survive a Saturday.

  • Reviews flows against real appointments and walk-ins
  • Calls out anything that costs a barber time at the chair
  • Keeps the language of the app the language of the trade

If a feature would not survive a busy Saturday in a real barbershop, it does not ship.

That is the whole standard, and having barbers in-house is the only reliable way to hold it.
